Jonathan Alphonso has been a licensed mortgage agent with Power of Sales Ontario for over five years and has been instrumental in the company’s growth since its inception. Working and training under the mentorship of his father, Ronald Alphonso, Jonathan gained extensive knowledge in complex mortgage scenarios, particularly power of sale and foreclosure. Today, he serves as the first point of contact for many clients, assisting with both challenging mortgage cases and straightforward financing such as home purchases and home equity loans. With a strong background in technology and digital marketing, he leads the firm’s development team and ensures smooth, efficient client processes. Holding an MBA from Ryerson University, a Bachelor of Commerce from York University, and multiple digital certifications, Jonathan combines financial expertise with technical innovation to deliver effective mortgage solutions.

Elizabeth Tallis – Mortgage Agent Level 2
Elizabeth Tallis brings over 30 years of experience in finance, banking, and private lending. Licensed as a mortgage agent since 2008, she has managed bank operations, mortgage enforcement teams, and lender portfolios, giving her a deep understanding of private lending from administration to enforcement. Known for her strong negotiation skills, legal knowledge, and operational expertise, Elizabeth ensures smooth mortgage funding and oversees compliance across multiple companies. She works closely with both consumers and lenders, bringing a balanced perspective and proven leadership to every transaction.
Marwan Shahid – Lead Writer
Marwan Shahid is the lead writer at Power of Sales Ontario, specializing in private mortgage topics since 2023. With a Master’s degree in Medical Biophysics from Western University and professional experience in research and project coordination, he applies his strong analytical and writing skills to create clear, informative content that helps Canadian homeowners navigate real estate and mortgage decisions with confidence.
Jade Filiault – Head of Marketing
Jade Filiault is the Head of Marketing at Power of Sales Ontario, bringing over a decade of experience in creative and digital roles. She specializes in social media management, SEO, copywriting, and analytics, with a proven track record of driving online growth and engagement. Skilled in platforms such as WordPress, Google Analytics, and various ad management tools, Jade ensures Power of Sales Ontario maintains a strong digital presence and delivers valuable content across multiple channels.
